Continuing Classes!

I'll be teaching more botanical illustration classes at Lauritzen gardens over the next few months. We have classes on drawing trees and leaves, keeping a sketchbook, and drawing flowers while delving into their secrets. These are beginner-friendly, relaxed classes with plenty of tips and encouragement. If you love plants and want to spend time learning more about them, these classes are for you!

The style of drawing for these classes is traditional botanical illustration, with detailed drawings that show off the individual features of each plant. In some classes, we look at the flowers through a magnifying glass. There are so many wonders in the plant world, and some of it is only visible if you look closely.
