New exhibit at Lauritzen Gardens!

My "Herbarium" exhibit at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska is now open! These paintings are based on an herbarium collection I prepared in a dendrology class more than 30 years ago. The beautiful tree and woody plant specimens still continue to inspire me. Over the next few weeks, I'll share more about what an herbarium is (Emily Dickinson prepared one, too!), preparing herbarium sheets, and why they continue to be relevant in a digital world.
